Reading My Favorite BookWhen asked to list my favorite books, I immediately thought, "The Bible!" It's my passion. There are times when I would love to forget everything else and just sit and study from morning to night.

As to other reading, my favorite book tends to be the one I happen to be reading. Every writer has something to say, and I'm interested in hearing different points of view. I'm a slow reader; so I pick books that hold my interest or challenge me to the last page - whether non-fiction or fiction.

Because I tend to read in spurts, I made a New Year's resolution a few years ago to read a book a week. I kept a list so that I could see if my reading was "balanced." I try to read a mixture of classics, new releases, Christian, secular.
